Using the service
VideoFrame Extractor provides free browser tools for frame capture, image and audio processing, captions and short video workflows. Use the service lawfully, keep your original files and do not disrupt the site or misuse its contact service.
Your files and permissions
You retain whatever rights you already have in your source footage and exports. Extraction does not grant rights in material owned by another person. You are responsible for obtaining permissions needed for your intended publication, commercial use, or handling of identifiable people and confidential information.
Technical limits
Codec support depends on your browser and device. Frame extraction accepts files up to 2 GiB and 8,294,400 decoded pixels per frame. Other tools have separate limits in the linked limits reference. A gallery holds up to 120 images or 96 MB of encoded images. Seeking is not guaranteed to identify an exact source frame. Sharpness scores are heuristic estimates. HDR and wide-gamut color preservation are not guaranteed.
Availability and results
We aim to keep the tool useful, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every video, or a specific result. Keep a copy of your original footage and inspect exports before relying on them. This utility is not a certified forensic, medical, or legal evidence-processing system.

Additional media tools and generated results
Each tool states its input and output limits in its workspace. AI image enlargement estimates details; background masks, OCR and automatic captions can contain mistakes. The vocal tool uses stereo centre cancellation and is not a separated-vocal model. The canvas example contains resized prototype frames. These outputs require your review and do not grant new rights in the source media. The testing page distinguishes observed results from unverified compatibility.
Engine downloads and connection requirements
Selected media is processed locally, while website assets and model files may need an internet connection. The media engine is fetched from the stated jsDelivr release. A freshly opened offline page is not guaranteed to load. The third-party notices identify bundled dependencies; see the privacy policy for request and contact handling.
