One JPG or a sequence from your MP4?
For a cover or product still, use Go to timestamp, inspect the paused preview, and capture the current picture. For a review sequence, choose a start and exclusive end, then sample every N seconds, at an entered FPS interval, at evenly spaced times, or at your own timestamp list. Sampling requests pictures at times; it does not enumerate exact source frames. The image retains browser-decoded dimensions, up to 8.3 million pixels.
Choose JPG quality by checking the result
Quality ranges from 10 to 100, with 95 as a starting point. Lower settings often reduce file size but can soften lettering and texture. A 1920 × 1080 MP4 frame still exports at 1920 × 1080; quality changes compression rather than dimensions. Inspect a downloaded JPG at actual size. Choose PNG for screen recordings or editing where avoiding another lossy image encode matters more than file size.
Keep batch exports manageable
The gallery holds up to 120 pictures or 96 MB. A 0–10 second range sampled once per second requests ten pictures at 0 through 9 seconds. The end is excluded. Download a ZIP and clear the gallery before continuing. An optional JSON manifest records filenames, decoded timestamps and dimensions. Filenames are not verified source-frame identifiers.
Playback and privacy
MP4 is a container. H.264 is a practical starting point, while HEVC and other codecs depend on browser and device. Other locally decodable videos can also work. Selected video and captured images remain in browser objects and are not submitted for conversion. Loading the page still requests site assets. Keep your original footage and use media you have permission to process.
