Choose a video from your device

No video upload. Try a compatible MP4, MOV, or WebM file. Up to 2 GB; playback depends on your browser.

Up to 120 captured images / 96 MB per gallery. Sharpness is an estimate; seeking is browser-dependent. The end time is excluded from a batch. Your video stays on your device.

A moving clip needs a still-image decision

A TikTok video may communicate through movement, but a still needs one readable subject or result. Look for a moment where the action pauses and the important object is visible. Open your original clip, seek near that moment and use small time steps to find alternatives. Capture a few rather than trusting the first paused image. This workflow is designed for comparing your own footage; it does not fetch a video from a TikTok URL.

Compare the subject, not just the score

The gallery gives a sharpness estimate based on edge variation. A busy wall or caption can score higher than a face, even when the face is the reason someone should understand the video. Compare the subject at the same display size, checking eyes, outlines and motion blur. Use the estimate as a hint. Keep candidates with useful expressions and clear framing even if they are not the highest-scoring images.

Prepare a cover without losing flexibility

Portrait footage retains its decoded dimensions. Save PNG if you want to crop, add a label or make several designs in an editor; choose JPG for a smaller sharing copy. This workspace does not add cover text or control TikTok’s cover selection interface. Check the platform’s current preview during publishing. Leave space around the subject and avoid tiny labels that become unreadable when the cover is shown beside other clips.

Start with a short test

  1. Choose a compatible local video and wait for a playable preview.
  2. Capture one useful moment, or select a short range and interval.
  3. Compare the actual subject, then download an image or gallery ZIP.

The workspace accepts sources up to 2 GB and 8.3 million decoded pixels per frame. A gallery holds up to 120 images or 96 MB. Seeking depends on the browser and source timing. Keep the source, use media you have permission to process, and check a small output before starting a larger batch.

Questions for this workflow

Does it automatically find the best TikTok frame?

No. It captures the times you choose and estimates sharpness. You select the frame that best represents your content.

Can it repair a blurred face?

Capture a clearer nearby moment first. AI enlargement can infer detail but does not reliably recover the original face.
