Your workspaceLOCAL PROCESSING

100 MiB · up to a 600-second selected range. Processing runs on your device. Limits and method

Choose a file or try a sample. Engines load only when needed.

Supported files use a lightweight browser audio converter. WAV uses native audio decoding where available. Unsupported codecs use the saved compatibility engine. Selected media is never uploaded.

Choose the format for the next step

MP3 is practical for everyday playback; WAV is an uncompressed PCM export for editing and can be much larger. M4A uses AAC; OGG uses Opus in the native path and Vorbis in the compatibility path. A higher bitrate cannot restore detail already missing in the source audio.

A practical workflow

Choose a video with an audio track. Enter a start and end time, select the output format, and extract. Listen before sharing. A silent source or a video without audio cannot produce a useful soundtrack.

Before you export

Use only media you own or have permission to process. Keep the source and inspect the result. Desktop Chrome or Edge is a useful starting point; memory, codecs, and graphics support vary by device. A readable error means the current file or environment needs a different workflow, not that a result was created.

Does it download audio from YouTube?

No. Use a local file you have permission to process. The tool does not bypass streaming protections or download from a video-platform URL.

Do my files leave this device?

No media is uploaded by these tools. Your browser downloads pages and models from the website host, and the media engine from jsDelivr. Hosting requests and contact inquiries are explained in the privacy policy.
